As a documentary photographer, I specialize in capturing raw, fleeting experiences that will never happen again in a way that will remind you what this transition feels like, not just pretty photos. Documentary newborn and birth photography is for families that want to remember all of these feelings—the highs and the lows—and preserve the story of this transition in their lives.

Birth Photography
Birth photography isn’t just for “hippies” and it doesn’t have to feature a lot of graphic images or nudity (although I’m certainly not afraid of those things). It’s about documenting the story of when your child joined your family. Some moments might be hard, but there will also be moments of strength, partnership, and beauty.
A birth photography package includes:
In-person consultation before the birth.
Me being on call 24/7 from 38 weeks until the time of delivery.
Time spent with you from the time of active labor up to 2 hours after the birth.
A choice of photos or video of the moment of birth.
A private online gallery of all the best photos, edited and downloadable for one year.

Newborn Photography
My documentary newborn sessions aren’t for posed, wrapped-up baby photos with everyone smiling. Instead of directing you, I photograph what life actually looks like right now: feeding, changing, fumbling with tiny buttons.
By focusing on your real moments, I capture the tenderness, tiredness, and love that define this transitional time. These sessions are relaxed and centered on the everyday details you’ll want to remember once “baby” is asking to borrow the car keys.
