Documentary family photography is photojournalism for families who want to preserve the story of their life together in a specific time and place. Rather than a family photoshoot with posing, I spend more time with families and photograph them interacting with one another as they live their lives. Whether I join you for a part of your routine at home or I accompany you on an adventure in the city, I will capture authentic moments that make you feel something when you look at them.

A Glimpse (2 hours)
Two hours captures a small slice of life—one or two activities together. It won't cover the full range of your days, but the laughter, looks, and genuine interaction will still say something true about who you are and how you connect with each other.
We can hang out at home, go on a short neighborhood outing, or both.

A Longer Look (4 hours)
Four hours gives us more time to settle into a rhythm together and allows me to photograph a wider range of interactions. We'll also have time to visit the places around Taipei that matter most to your family.
Bonus: the longer I’m with you, the more everyone lets their guard down and allows me to capture who they truly are!

A Day in the Life
I become part of your family for an entire day, from morning wake-up to bedtime. I'm not in your face with a camera the whole time—I'm catching the in-between moments that make up a life. Your day doesn't need to feel "interesting" for this to work; the resulting gallery tells a rich story about your relationships, your home, and what life actually feels like right now, not just what it looks like.
I can travel anywhere worldwide for full-day sessions (travel expenses added as needed).

All sessions include a private online gallery of all the best photos from your session, edited and downloadable for 1 year. I can travel anywhere island-wide/worldwide for full Day in the Life sessions, multi-day storytelling projects, or for 3+ shorter sessions that take place over a period of several days. Feel free to discuss the possibility of bringing me to your city with other families you know, and reach out if you’d like to work together on a long-form storytelling project to document your family memories on vacation.
